Our life project

 The apartment is an independent part of Casa Jaumet that we’ve prepared to host guests. It’s equipped to accommodate a couple or a small group:

  • Double bed.
  • Sofa-bed for 2–3 extra people.
  • Gas kitchen, fridge, oven, dishwasher and Italian coffee maker (Moka pot).
  • Table and 4 chairs inside.
  • Terrace with table and chairs for outdoor dining in summer.
  • Wood stove.
  • Separate outdoor bathroom (a few steps away) with hydromassage shower.
  • Free Wifi.
  • Outdoor barbecue.
  • Bike and kayak rental for trips to the lake at La Pobla de Segur.
  • Highchair and cot available for babies. We also have a child‑carrier backpack…

We wanted it to be a cozy space to enjoy the surroundings with all possible comforts. It has windows and lots of natural light, it’s a 60 m² open-plan layout and the bathroom is outside. All three areas (apartment, terrace and bathroom) are exclusively for the guests.

You’ll find...

A place of silence, nature, peaceful village life, and great peace in the heart of Pallars Jussà. We live off the land, which we cultivate ecologically and sustainably. We are beekeepers, we have an organic garden, saffron, chickens, and are surrounded by our restored century‑old olive groves, through which our little donkeys peacefully wander, fertilizing and ploughing the soil naturally. We invite you to share this land and discover its surroundings, full of peace, harmonious walks, panoramic views, starry skies and pure air near La Pobla de Segur.

Location

 It is located in the village of Aramunt Vell, in Conca de Dalt, 6 km from La Pobla de Segur (Pallars Jussà). We are the only inhabited house in the village and are working to rebuild other ruined houses and recover the surrounding century-old olive groves. The rural apartment is a space of silence, nature, quiet village life, and great peace.

What activities can be done in the area?

The surroundings are full of rural tourism opportunities for all tastes and ages. A swim in the Lago to cool off in summer, the shop-museums of Salàs de Pallars, excursions around the Pallars Jussà or Sobirà area, or simply staying near the rural Apartment and slowly following the Costa path that goes from the house to Aramunt Vell, passing through fields of centuries-old olive trees where our ruquetes graze, and maybe picking some aromatic herbs...

How to get to Casa Jaumet?

Casa Jaumet is located 700 m from the center of Aramunt. To access the apartment, you can park at the foot of the house, where the path starts, or by track.

Is there public transport?

There are trains and buses to La Pobla de Segur, 10 minutes by car from the house. We can pick you up by car if you don’t have a vehicle (upon request).

Are pets allowed?

Animals are not allowed inside the apartment. However, if you want to bring your pet, it can stay in the inner courtyard of the house, in the barnyard, where we also have our dog (neutered) and two kittens.

Is it accessible for disabled people?

The access to the house has stairs and the terrain is quite uneven. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to make the path wheelchair accessible.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. Smoking is allowed outside, disposing of cigarette butts properly extinguished in an ashtray, never on the ground or, even less, in the field.
