Casa Jaumet Honey, Award for Best Organic Honey 2024

On September 19, 2024, Casa Jaumet Honey was awarded the 2nd Prize at the Multifloral Organic Honey Contest of the Brull Honey Fair, organized by the Association of Organic Beekeepers (AEA). A contest that recognizes the best organic honeys produced by its members and has become a benchmark in the sector.

Our mountain and forest honey is the result of organic beekeeping, respectful of bees and the environment. The Mediterranean climate of Pallars Jussà, with dry summers and cold winters, produces honey highly concentrated in nectar and aromas, reflecting the biodiversity of the territory.

This recognition highlights our daily effort to offer honey that is pure, high-quality and authentic in flavor, born from the wild nature that surrounds us, with intense and aromatic notes from mountain flowers and forests.

For us, this award is confirmation that work done with respect, love and constancy bears fruit: one of the best organic honeys, awarded and recognized for its value and uniqueness.

This contest also showed that we have excellent honeys and beekeepers in our land, capable of producing outstanding products through constant and respectful work with nature. The AEA, organizer of the event, plays a key role on this path: promoting technical seminars, workshops and training activities, providing technical and legal advice, distributing certified wax and authorized medicines to control varroa, and giving visibility to certified organic honeys at the Organic Honey Fair of Catalonia. Altogether, this strengthens a beekeeping sector committed to quality and sustainability, where award-winning organic honey reflects a way of working that connects tradition, innovation and future.
